Back to work

Well, I'm back at work today, with no lack of things to do. In fact, stuff is actually beginning to pile up a bit. I spent the morning doing some more inputting, and I just want to say to everyone that if you are ever in a walkathon or things where you get pledges, PLEASE WRITE LEGIBLY AND GIVE ALL REQUESTED INFORMATION. I am rather annoyed with a fair amount of the participants, who will give last names for sponsers and no address, or just the first names with an adress (as if there was only on Chris and Susie the world!).

That took about an hour. Then I started to help the other summer students stuff envelopes. And we're still not done. I'm on lunch break now, for another half an hour, which is nice, especially since today is my mom's day off, and thus I can use her computer ^_^

But before I go off to surf the web until I have to report back, I just wanted to share this review my HP fic The Many Adventures of Whoremione, because I was amused when I read it:

Another day's work done

Well, I'm back on my mom's computer, killing time before my dad comes to pick me up. I'm feeling really good about today, because it seems a lot got done ^_^

Of course, since I want this job to last awhile, that may not be such a good thing >.<

So, as some of you may have noticed I haven't been writing much lately. Well, last night I tried to get out of the rut. I worked on both Liminal and Healing, the fics I want to have complete ASAP, and I also started my Noriko/K fic, currently entitled Show and Substance, although that may change. I figured I had to write one of the stories I was excited about, and the one I'm most into right now is S&S. Seeing Double is kinda lingering in the dark, though I will work on it too soon. What I really need to do though, is figure out how to get my excitement back about the other two. As I've been saying for awhile, for Healing I really should just watch the last episode of Trigun again. Not sure what to do for Liminal, though I haven't really been thinking about it lately, so perhaps if I start to do that, things will improve. Luckily I'm doing a Jaina monologue, and she is the easier character to write for me. Also, the next (and last) Jacen monologue already has a fair amount written, because when I was working on the last Jacen on, what I had written turned out to be his last one. It was annoying then, but it good now.

So, I better get going because I do want to get home, and perhaps go for a swim (and a shower...my hair is fried by chlorine), and then hopefully I can work some more on finally getting those fics done. Especially since, if this entry is any indication, I'm in a writing mood today.
