15 Years Ago, I :
1. ...was 6 and in grade one
2. ...was in Shannon's class for the only time ever (not counting a brief period in grade three)
3. ...visited Stephen all the time without any calling ahead, I would just bike over there
4. ...learned to read by myself and fell in love with it, so much that I actually borrowed the most advanced reader for the summer (and was intensely jealous that Meredith started out at that level). I also finished one of the shorter readers in a night.
5. ...went to DisneyWorld with my parents and went on my first rollercoaster (Space Mountain) but didn't scream because my dad told me not to.
10 Years Ago, I :
1. ...was eleven and in grade six, my first year for awhile not being in a split class (I was in 3/4, 4/5, and 5/6, always the younger grade which I think is better because then you can learn stuff from your next's years curriculum early...I had great fun with this in French and used to always try to answer the older grade's questions XD)
2. ...had a Tamagouchi, which were all the rage (I really wish I could find mine and play with it some more! It has to be in my house somewhere).
3. ...decided that I was going to go to Fitzroy Centennial's Late-French Immersion program and go to a different school from almost all my friends (there were a few other Huntley people there, and some of the girls I played ringette with, so I knew like, 5 people the first day of school at Fitzroy).
4. ...was Ross in our school's production of Macbeth (a simplified version that had Ross taking on the roles of all the minor thanes in the original). I was also a Herald in Rescue in the Night
5. ...would sometimes walk to the library after school instead of taking the bus home, and would be picked up there by my mom.
5 Years Ago, I :
1. ...was 16 (ack!) and in grade eleven.
2. ...put my right hand through one of the glass panes in our French hall doors and had to get my first stiches (five of them) and then got to wear a big bandage on my wrist so it looked like I had slashed them (reasoning for this was what at the time was insane levels of stress, set off by my dog having ripped apart a little notebook that I used for writing down ideas for writing: plots, characters, etc...luckily I was able to salvage most of it later).
3. ...was in two 8 people classes, Math and Chemistry, due to a fluke of scheduling. It was really awesome.
4. ...was a Munchkin and a Messenger in The Wiz, and also Astrofar in Rescue in the Night (yes, we did Rescue in the Night twice and it was very exciting for me, because it was the only time EVER that I had actually gotten the role I wanted in a play/musical).
5. ...went on the band trip to Atlantic Music Fest and fell in love with the Atlantic provinces (mainly Halifax, since that was where we were and all). This was also the year that I had first heard of Mount Allison, though I still planned to go the Queen's.
3 Years Ago, I :
1. ...was eighteen and able to drink legally in Quebec. I also graduated high school/started university.
2. ...got into anime again, thanks to Katikabe's evil plan, though I had enjoyed Sailor Moon, Digimon, and Escaflowne before when they ran on TV.
3. ...met many awesome people. Oh, and I met Margaret XD
4. ...was in the chorus of Footloose which was great fun, even if the show itself is not the best in the world (or really that close to it).
5. ...worked my last year as a Day Camp Counsellor, which was always lots of fun, I really can't believe all the kids in my group back then are eight now (obviously they were five then)...and my kids from the first year are ten!
1 Year Ago, I :
1. ...was twenty and had finished a sometimes quite stressful second year.
2. ...was living at home with my parents, jobless and pretty miserable for the most part.
3. ...spent time (though not as much as I would have liked) with Shannon and Samantha.
4. ...had two characters in Himitsu, Irene and Maire. That summer I also got Patience, Isobel, and Dale, I think.
5. ...couldn't wait to get back to Sackville and all my friends (and start third year, which I was very excited about)
Yesterday, I :
1. ...worked from 3-9 at Tim Horton's.
2. ...slept in till noon.
3. ...stayed up till 4AM.
4. ...had very sporadic meals.
5. ...finished reading The Swarm Wars.
Today and Tomorrow (put them together since everything falls into the future), I :
1. ...will probably sleep till noonish both days.
2. ...will hopefully have dealt with Spirit Wars stuff
3. ...will have finished new Himitsu icons and have gone through userinfos, updating them (and adding bloodtypes, since I found my copy of Shoujo Beat vol 1 again, which has a guide to what the bloodtypes mean for personality)
4. ...will have started reading another book (I am thinking it will either be The Destined Queen or Mirror, Mirror, not sure yet...or maybe I should continue with the book I got from Aunt Diane, about Mary, Queen of Scots)
5. ...will not work, yay!
6. ...will hopefully play tennis.
7. ...will go grocery shopping.
8. ...will see X3.
9. ...will work on Himitsu100 ficlet.
10. ...will work on latest art project.
