Alright well...I finally have info from Humber. And uh...it looks like I have two days to come up with the essay thingy, though I'm not sure since my interview procedure will be a bit different from the norm, since I obviously can't actually go the Humber myself.
Luckily the essay is only one page. About a Canadian authored book published within the last year. I'm hoping that Jane Urquhart's A Map of Glass will suffice, the paperback version at very least hasn't been out for more than a year. And thankfully the essay is focused on the physical aspects of the book, rather than the content, so I think I can get away with the fact that I haven't actually read it yet.
Sent an email to Cynthia, she responds fast so I should know what's going on soon.
