For those who understand Japanese

Ok, so I'm hoping that either Katiosa or Shiori can help me out here, especially since they understand what I'm looking for. Sammy finally scanned the page from the Japanese manga in which the English translation has K saying the Ryuichi basically has a split-personality.
I would like to know how accurate this translation is, just because it could really help when it comes to my Ryuichi past fic that I eventually plan on writing.
Thanks again to Sammy for getting the scan. Also, if the helpful speakers of Japanese are unsure of anything, I can probably get one of the MASSIEs to help out.

on 2004-10-26 09:42 am (UTC)This page came up in a discussion of Ryuichi and his supposed multiple personalities disorder and about no one close to Ryuichi ever saying he did. But this line seems to suggest it, kinda...though I suppose we already knew that Ryuichi acts very differently in different situations, so it isn't necessarily saying he has a mental disorder.
Thanks though! Definitely helpful.
Does it mention Ryuichi being aware of this at any point? Because I know that was another interesting thing in the English.

on 2004-10-26 12:05 pm (UTC)I actually have decided I like the awareness thing, which I can use to kinda mix the idea that Ryuichi has a disorder and the idea that he's just rather eccentric. I need to look into MPD/DID a bit more, but I do know that people sometimes do have control over the alters, at least to some extent.
Plus it might explain why we see the non-adult personality more than the adult, who I still believe should be the host personality (because the host usually seems to be representative of how the person would be without the disorder, though of course te disorder would affect them)
