(no subject)
Home in Ottawa, hurrah! For all of one week and a half =P
Elphie turned out to be a very good traveller, once she got settled in. The highlight of the trip for me was, due to a hotel mix-up, getting my own room (to share with the kitty) instead of a double with my parents. This meant no listening to parents snore, plus I could watch Little People, Big World instead of the hockey game (I am a great Canadian!).
Back now, have some things brought inside from the trailer. The dog is also back, which is interesting. Right now Elphie is being kept in a different part of the house, but there is a French door between the areas so Shadow has seen her and they have had a few fun staring moments. But I think it's going well. We're going to stay with the "they know that the other exists" stage for a little bit, maybe tomorrow I'll try putting Shadow on a leash and opening the door.
Now time to catch up on the Internets. Of course, home also means that I am subjected to the GREATEST EVIL KNOWN TO MAN (TM): dial-up.
Ick.
