Finally did get some sleep in...not sure how much though. Blah. It's nights like last night that really make me wonder about those sleep aid things, because sometimes it just takes forever. But that still seems a bit extreme. Hmm.

7-3 shift today, which is long and early. But still good to have. I'm going to talk to Debbie today about getting time off my time off in July, hopefully that will go smoothly. I especially need to talk about the 5th and 6th, since that's only two weeks away.

I wish I could go back to sleep ;_;

Here's a bit of a hint from someone whoworked far to man 7-3 shifts. Occasionally after a 3-11 shift (all our shifts were 8 hrs long).

Even if you can't sleep, stay in bed and stay relaxed (aka dont lie there getting stressed about not sleeping). Physical rest is just as important as mental rest, and you can work at tims as long as your body can keep moving ^_~
Try to keep a regular sleeping pattern. I know everything has always said this, but going ot bed close to the same time all the time does help. Though the whole getting up at the same time is stupid, espeically since the 'same time' would have a to be like 6 and that's masochistic =P
Figure out your morning schedual to get the most sleep possible. I just needed to get up 10 minutes before I had to leave ^_~

Good luck ^_^

Thanks. I know a regular sleeping pattern would help lots, but with my crazy RPGing habits, it's really not going to happen. RPGing also means that I wake up an hour before I have to leave, but I actually find that if I do that then I am more awake/alert by the time I actually leave.

*grins* You're clearly the better person than me, then. I used the first hour or so at work to wake up =P

GETTING UP AN HOUR EARLY????????

I don't believe I'm reading this from the daughter who got out of bed at 6:55 am to leave the house at 7:05 am to catch the school bus all through high school!

Love Mom

Well, I didn't have stuff I wanted to check on the computer then...and I didn't need to get the energy up to have breakfast and walk to work.
