BSG musing time.

I've been rewatching scenes from the finale and I still love it so much. Maybe more than I did before. I just think it was perfect. Maybe not all the pieces were perfect, but as a whole...it was just so wonderful. Even if it wasn't what I necessarily expected.

I can't believe the series is over. Which is even more shocking since I only started watching it in September so it was really only open canon for six months of my life. Seems longer and shorter.

Bill/Laura is so my OTP of OTPs. They pulled me completely back into fandom to an extent I haven't been since I my big Harry Potter fandom years.

I really wish the 4.5 DVDs could be out now because I really want to see the extended cut of Daybreak. I also really hope it's 3 hours and 3 minutes long, because that's the same length as the mini and that would be awesome. And something they would totally do XD

And of course, there is still The Plan, though it will not have my beloved Laura in it.

I really should sit down and collect my thoughts in one place on this episode (and just the whole BSG thing) as I seem instead to be vomiting them as comments all over other people's journals. Whoops.

LOL, don't worry about it. I rarely put together too many of my thoughts, I just needed to get them down somewhere. And then go off and fic.

I also am going to be watching all of 4.5 tomorrow, I think. I want to watch the finale again but I'm not quite sure I can handle it by itself =P

I'm getting my apartment to myself for a week in April, so I'm going to do a 24 hours of BSG marathon ... check the entries on my journal for the preliminary list of episodes I selected. I need to firm it up soon - I figured I have about 33 episodes to get through. Sort of a 'best of' kinda deal. I could use help finalizing the list if you have the time to take a gander at it.

Yeah, but I watched all of 4.0 in one day the first time. Plus there has to be some benefit to having nothing else to do XD

Not judging - I'm the freak that watched 4 seasons in six days. I can't possibly pass judgment on how folks spend their free time. Lol. If anything, I'm bummed that I'm too busy to invite myself over!

Aw, well, maybe another time. I think I will probably be bawling my eyes out when I hit the finale again so it may be for the best that I'm alone (because my supply of tissues with no corners isn't all that big XD).

I'll email or message you when I get back from school tomorrow ... if you're still viewing and want company I'd be up for heading over. I can bring my own tissues!
