Imriel has graduates from puppy class! It's just the first level at the dog school I'm taking him too, so there will be more classes to come but he has the foundation down (so essentially, he's done doggy kindergarten).
Life has been pretty hectic the last couple of weeks, with puppy classes, the beginning of summer ringette, choir, and a bunch of other things too. Plus, life with a dog can be just a BIT distracting. But I wanted to get back to that old favourite characters meme, so I could finally finish it.
While I love Nodame in the manga as well, there is a reason I'm using the live action version for my image. Ueno Juri is Nodame for me so much that I actually couldn't really get into the anime because it was a different version (that and there were too many stills during the performances that it became boring to watch).
Nodame is just such an incredible character in that there really isn't anyone else quite like her. She's extremely talented but hardly seems to even realize it, can be absolutely ridiculous at times, and probably has the purest heart of any character on this list.
It also doesn't hurt that she is one half of one of the best told love stories in any medium. While it may start out seeming like it is just another case of the two lead characters getting together by the end, it ends up being so, so, SO much more.
It still breaks my heart that this manga is probably never going to be completely translated into English. But at least I have the live action to let me know how this incredible character's story comes to an end.
