Home sick today due to cramps but before I go lie down for a bit, I wanted to do another favourite character post. I might even do more than one today *scandal*!
Also, none of the top 4 characters should come as a surprise to anyone. Especially if you're paying attention to the fandom tags.
I've often said that if there was a book made that just had Snape's scenes from the Harry Potter series, I would be thrilled and probably read it more than the actual books. He really is an absolutely fascinating character with so many facets, easily the best thing to come out of the whole series.
And I'm not a crazy "stan" (I hate that word) who thinks Snape is a woobie who just needs someone to love him. He can be an absolutely terrible person at times but that makes the fact that he is on the right side that much more interesting. He's one of the "good guys" who isn't a good guy (and not the only one too, looking at you, Sirius).
And of course, it doesn't hurt that he's played by Alan Rickman, who I discovered through this role and have loved ever since.
