Everyone who knows anything about me and BSG should have seen this coming a mile away, although I wouldn't be surprised if many people expected Laura to hold the number one spot. My love for her is just that deep and true.

Unlike most of my other favourite BSG characters, I didn't take to Laura right away. But somewhere in season two, she really started getting my interest and by the end of the season she had the favourite character spot firmly locked down and never got close to giving it up.

I love Laura's strength and determination. I love that she becomes "mother" to the entire fleet and always puts the fleet's needs before her own (or at least almost always). I love that she can still laugh and giggle and find love at the end of the world.

I just love her and BSG - the best TV character and TV show out there IMO.
