May. 15th, 2007 05:23 pmOMG it is so hot today. Especially biking around with a ton of groceries.
I made it to the store, it was about a 15 minute trip. I discovered on the way back the best route is to go right to the lake shore and then cut back at 37th street. It's so pretty too. Sometime I'll have to go down there and get in the water to cool down. That would be great, even if it is Lake Ontario.
I also am proud that I managed to stay pretty much on budget, though it would be easier if I didn't have to buy both litter and catfood. Silly hungry kitten.
I am so terribly glad that I ended up coming back home though and changing into a sleeve-less shirt and shorts. I would have died in my black jeans.
It was really nice to be back, although I accidently forgot about an assignment that was due today. It wasn't anything too big at least. I need to get my due dates up on my calendar, apparently.
Tonight I need to do laundry and generally get this room back in order, since it's slightly not since I just threw stuff on the ground when I got back yesterday. I also have to try and get Rolen's birthday fic done, because clearly that's what I should be devoting my writing activities to, rather than the two plot fics for Dale and Kastel that really should have been done ages ago -_- But Rolen and Justine make me happy, so that's a plus there.
Another plus is the lovely fan that is blowing on my legs. Yay for fans. This is the first time I've been trying to cool the apartment down, usually it's too cold.
Also, GO SENS GO, one more game and we make it to the finals!
