So, Elphaba's been a bit of a brat lately, which is one of the reasons I've been contemplating getting another cat because I think she might be bored. Anyway, today she was being particularly weird and so I decided to take her outside to try and get some new stimuli or whatever. She's always liked going outside, though the downside is that when you bring her back in she starts crying to go back out (which she is doing right now -_-)
While we were out there, one of the neighbourhood cats came by, a big orange tabby that I've seen a few times out the window. I was a bit concerned because I don't really know the temperament of all the cats around here, but this one had seemed find before, so I let Elphie go meet him/her. They got along okay too. Mainly just stared each other down, though there was some nose-to-nose sniffing too.
I think the other cat wanted to play, he/she kept rolling on his/her back, but Elphaba didn't go for it. Maybe next time.
This is exciting for me since it's the first time I've really seen her with another cat who wasn't related/near-related to her.
