Jun. 30th, 2007 10:03 pmIt never ceases to amaze me when I get a review for one of my really old Harry Potter fan fics. How do these people find them in the black hole that is FF.Net? With the one exception of A Picture's Worth, they are all very standard pairings.
I'm not complaining however, since I love reviews (and I will say that most of those I get are positive).
The zoo was AWESOME even though I am a bit sunburned (I predict that tomorrow most of the redness will be gone though...at least I hope so!). I definitely have fallen completely in love with tigers and polar bears. Best animals ever. The hippos were also very cool because they were PLAYING. It's neat to see because it's not something you expect from large, rather awkward looking creatures.
Dinner at Bruce and Joan's was also nice, always great to see them. I also learned that my parents apparently sued the guy who built our house and had a really bad time with the whole purchasing process, which was news to me since I was well, 3 at the time and so don't really remember any problems.
Also, Dad got Elphaba's cat tree made and it is really awesome. It's pretty much two pillars with platforms on top, covered in carpet, and I think she is going to love it. So yay! I also have a bunch more stuff here now, including my guitar so I can put to use the Complete Idiot's Guide to Playing the Guitar that I got a few weeks back.
All and all, good day. Tomorrow we are going to my cousin's birthday party, which shall also be fun I think. Also, breakfast and grocery shopping with my parents (which means with a CAR!)
Now to figure out all I missed today.
