Alas, my beloved Venus has been defeated in the US Open by Justine. Sigh. She was playing really well and the semis is nothing to laugh at. But Justine is the number one women's player in the world for a reason and she definitely showed that today. It was a great match.

The icon will stick around for a little longer though, at least until the weekend and the tournament is over.

Tennis is awesome. Also curling.
