(no subject)

I have a bit of time to chill and enjoy my parents' satellite TV. Shannon's parents are coming to pick me up at 10:15, then the burial is at 11. Afterwards we are going to the Swan for lunch, which is nice because I love the Swan, even if I do have to stop clinging to its past (it was bought by different people a few years back and radically changed it's menu so my old order, which was a basket of deep fried goodies, is no longer available...but the desserts are amazing because the woman who owns it with her husband used to be a chocolatier).

Not sure when I'll be back home, but I will be here for dinner and then will watch Phantom of the Opera again because I brought it back with me (I have to return it after work on Sunday).

So that's my day. I hung out with Bill & Lindsay for about an hour last night, which was fun. Too brief, but that's what you get when things are so last-minute.

Sorry for voicepost spam, I have to admit I'm surprised that it saves and posts things when you get disconnected. Good to know.

The internet is working again, obviously. But now I'm exhausted and need to go to bed but first I'm doing some work for NaNo as I try to not let my first attempt at it go down in flames.
