Oddly enough, it didn't make me cry when I saw it the first time but there's a lot that doesn't do that. However, on re-watch ... yeah, it's definitely the most tear-jerky moment of the series, EASILY. Really, the only other contender is, of course, from the same episode, when the Fleet flies into the sun.

Uh, not really a lot more to say about that, other than to re-iterate that even though I cry I love this scene. It's beautiful and wonderful and a perfect end to an absolutely amazing character arc.
