Pick 5 fandoms and do this for each of them;
1. The first character you fell in love with:
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer.
And, the question Rosa added:
6. Which character did you think you would love but didn't.
Wolf's Rain
1. Toboe. I just love this pup SO much...and he's not even blond!!! (but he really can be quite angsty)
2. Kiba. At first, I really just thought he was another generic anime character...then he developed a personality and became quite cool (and he and Cheza are very cute...in a non-romantic way)
3. Darcia. He's an interesting character yes, but I never really cared for him despite that. Which is why it was so eary for me to hate him in the end.
4. Myu. This girl really is so cool, I don't see why she's hated so much. She's interesting and even if you don't like her, she's in TWO EPISODES. I was so glad today when I finally managed to find some screencaps of her.
5. I really can't think of any, though I will admit I'm not totally crazy about Hige...at least not on his own, Hige/Blue OTP!!!!
6. Cheza. Yes, she's cool...but she spends far too much time as an inanimate object and even in the end I don't overly care for her. At least, not as much as I do for everyone else...Wolf's Rain does have the tendency to make you care for everyone though.
Gundam Wing
1. Quatre. Oh, Quatre, words cannot express how much I adore thee.
2. Wufei. He is easily one of the hardest characters to understand...but once you figure him out, you realize what an amazing guy he is.
3. HEERO. I really don't like him. At least not at the beginning. After he spends some time with Quatre, he begins to get better...but before then, I WISH DEATH UPON HIM.
4. Relena. She does annoy me at the beginning, but after she grows up a bit, she really becomes quite cool.
5. Treize. It's not that I don't like him...I just have yet to really understand him. I know he's a visionary...but at the same time, I don't quite know what the vision was.
6. Zechs. He's an angsty blond and part of my fav het GW pairing (6x9), but I really don't like him at all. He's just, well, INSANE.
Lord of the Rings
1. Frodo. He broke through my usually apathy towards main characters (a lot of the time they aren't my fav) and really won me over. And Elijah Wood's eyes are PREEEEEEETTY.
2. Faramir. In the books, he was rather blah-ish...but once he hooked up with Eowyn (which rocked) and seeing him in the movies made him one of my favourite characters.
3. Legolas. I really don't care for him that much. Yes, he's pretty. Yes, he's an elf. Whatever. His friendship with Gimli is the only thing I ever enjoyed about him, really (though some of the stunts are rather cool)
4. Gollum. Not sure if he's hated that much, but I know people aren't too fond of him, because of what he does. But I find him so interesting. I will admit I'm more of a Smeagel (sp) fan though.
5. Aragorn. He seemed rather interesting at first, but it didn't pan out, IMO. He became just another hero/swordsman
6. Arwen. She is a very interesting character, giving up immortality, but I really don't care for her. Especially since some of the movie stuff does annoy me, though less than it does others.
Harry Potter
1. Hermione (oddly enough). She really is a rather fun character to read about and is the member of the Trio I relate to most.
2. Snape. I really fell in love with him, probably around PoA. He really is the most intriguing character in HP, because while he has been a main character in all the books, so little is known about him and clearly what we didn't know is rather interesting.
3. SIRIUS. I HATE THIS MAN SO MUCH. I really am not a fan of people or characters who act without thinking. The only time I enjoyed Sirius was at the beginning of OotP, when he was bitter. I laughed when he died.
4. Marietta. While this is obviously mainly due to the fact that I play her, I really do have an appreciation for Marietta and why she did what she did (this also has been extended to Percy Weasley...because both think they are doing the right thing, even if they may not be)
5. Dumbledore. After OotP, I really think he has outlived his usefulness. I'm predicting that he dies in book 6 (and I was right last time)
6. Lily. So far, she's rather been made out to be perfect, which is annoying since she must have had flaws too. Hopefully we will see more of her in the near future, so I may re-evalute my stance on her.
Pretear
1. Sasame. While I will admit much of this was to spite Kate, I really don't think I could possibly love him this much just because of that.
2. Kei. In the anime, he really rather sucks. But once you read the manga...wow...such an amazing character. It's so saddening what they did to him.
3. Hayate. He really deserves a kick. For many reasons. He is very cute around Himeno though, so I don't wish he would die.
4. Um...I'm not sure who is hated, really. So I'll go with Mawata. She is a very messed up little girl and it's really horrible what happens to her...I'm really glad she gets past it.
5. Shin. Ok, I still adore him...but I don't love him as much as I might have, if he had a chance to do anything that was cute (or traumatic, in the case of the manga...)
6. Hajime. I've always been partial to water, being a Pisces, but he really is rather generic.
Ok, tis past one so, as Katrebs tells me, I better be off to bed. Goodnight!
