Productivity is good
May. 8th, 2004 11:13 pmOk, so I did manage to finish my gift for Shannon (a drawing of her as Takhisis, the goddess of evil from the Dragonlance series), and gave it to her at dinner. She seemed to really like it, which is good. It also managed to have slightly more than a passing resemblence to her, which was even better.
Oh, and at dinner we used these angel oracle cards she got (basically tarot cards), and mine basically said that I should follow through on all the creative ideas I've been having...I guess that means I have to do all those fics, plus the two painting ideas. Plus now I can finish those Fushigi Yuugi drawings I did back at Mt A! Sounds like fun ^_^
Seeing Shannon was really great, but not as much as it could have been. Her boyfriend was there, as well as her sister's boyfriend, and the whole situation just made me slightly uncomfortable. I'm not sure why...I guess I just like to be around her more one-on-one. It wasn't like that with James, her last boyfriend, but I think that was because the two of us actually liked each other (I was actually the only one of her friends James did like), while with Chris it's more of a we don't dislike each other. Hopefully I'll get a chance to hang with her on Monday, and really catch up on life.

I also spent a fair amount of the day at my aunt's, working on my Hitomi costume. The bodice is almost done, which is great. Apparently the rest of it will be really easy. And then there is the altering of the Ryuichi shirt, which hopefully won't be hard.
And on the job front, my mother has a staff meeting on Monday, and one of the topics on the agenda is the summer students, so hopefully the funding is finally in.
*crosses fingers*
I guess that's it, except to say that I finally found out what's up withrosa_aquafire, and that I hope she is feeling better really soon. Also, the evil mail system has yet to bring me Pretear >.< Evilness.
