Spent most of the night talking to Katiosa, very fun. I just love talking to her so much, which is why I miss her so much when I don't talk to her.

Finally had to go and work on my essay. It's not as long as it should be, but I got it to 1099 words. That's 4 pages, plus another for the works cited. I hope she doesn't give me a bad mark for not reaching the 5th page with text, but I really had said all I could. I did put the word count on it, in case she wants to know. And I have a very nice essay in it. If it wasn't for it being a bit too short, I would be SO happy with it.

I guess I'm really just going to hope that it's good enough that she doesn't mind the shortness. At very least, I shouldn't get a really bad mark just because it's too short, right?

I HATE page counts...word counts are so much easier.

I'm tired...I'm going to sleep now.

(no subject)

I know I should be doing my reading for Can Lit, but my letter from my mother came today. And it talked more about this guy from back home who died in a plane accident in September. It mentioned a website so I went off to see it. It's really quite sad. I mainly went to make sure that this person was who I thought he was...and looking at pictures of him I can definitely remember him, even though we didn't really know each other.

It's really sad to see people I know dying. Sad beyond what words can express. Apparently my high school has had a suicide this year too. I don't remember the guy involved in that, though I did know a lot of his friends. I'm just so glad we never had a death while I was there. One of my classmates was really hurt badly in a car accident...but no one died. Thank God.

Zits...is...GODly

Ok, just a little background info...my mother sends me letters every week and in them she included newspaper articles and comics from The Ottawa Citizen. The good ones get taped onto my door. This one is not only on the door, but is brilliant enough to make it onto my LJ, under the cut because the pic is a bit big.
