Thanksgiving Weekend To-Do List

Ok, so I have one more class until the freedom of a long weekend. As I said before, I'm staying at university in order to try and get some important stuff done (and so I can have a big turkey dinner on Sunday...that will be nice...I just realized awhile ago that this is the first Thanksgiving I've spent away from family, since last year my parents and grandparents came down to visit me...maybe that's why I was so drawn to the larger dinner, since I'm used to having lots of people and lots of food)

Anyway, enough of my rambling (yeah, like that will ever happen). Here's a list of the various things I have to do.

Readings

- Sir Gawain and the Green Night
- Roughing it in the Bush
- Parts of The Canterbury Tales
- Wild Geese
- some chapters for American History
- some chapters for Linguistics

Assignments

- Can Lit essay
- Shakespeare essay (if I can find someone with the assignment sheet, since I seem to have lost mine...though it may be found somewhere in the mess of my room)
- Intro to Drama essay

Research

- Lit Periods paper (using required sources for my Citation assignment)
- Linguistics term-paper

Events

- Trueman barbeque Sat night (where I get to pretend I like chicken and that I like barbeques =P)
- Anime Club meeting (and hope that the creepy guy went home for Thanksgiving so we can have a meeting without be scared)
- Thanksgiving dinner Sun night

Other

- have the Marietta freak-out plot happen, and the Hogsmeade one (at Grindelwald)
- clean my room because it's a complete disaster
- update my October budget
- work on my writing
- write letters to Shannon and Ria (and possibly others, but those two are the main ones...oh, and Mer your letter hasn't arrived yet ;_;)



Well, that should certainly keep me busy, don't you think?

Oh, and I have one task that I would be happy if Margaret and Katiosa could do...figure out when Katie can come up here and look at places to live for next year. Because that would be nice to have dealt with early.

the fandom you write about the most: Mostly Harry Potter, though I am currently inactive in that fandom. Lately it's all been anime fandoms, though I haven't done too much for any single series (I have two Fushigi Yuugi fics and two for Gundam Wing)

most popular fic (counted by # of reviews): Confessions of the Firstborn (currently with 91 reviews). For awhile this was what I considered to be my best fic, but as of late it just falls a bit flat. My writing style has just changed so much.

least popular fic (based on your opinion): The only fics without reviews were the end of my Deja Vu series for Passions, so I'll go with them. I don't really care, too much, since I only wrote them last year to say that I had completed the series.

fic you are most proud of: Kaa-sama (Fushigi Yuugi). Not just because I won the award at AnimeNorth, but because I really love it. And I have no idea where it came from (wrote it at 2 AM @_@)

fic you wish you never wrote: My one NC-17 fic, which I really rather not name. It was done just to see if I could do NC-17 and is the only fic of mine that I absolutely refuse to read now.

Fun night

What a night. I fought with the laundry (my clothes still aren't completely dry...I'll have to spread them out tonight), got my webcam to work again and ended up going with Marissa (who is a friend, but not a very good one...good in the sense of "close") to see the twoonie movie, Little Black Book. The movie was actually really well done. I recommend it. It's not the average movie at all.

Not much else to say, really...except that SW robot sex is SO wrong (even more so than the heavy metal ewok song) and to wish neekabe a wonderful 20th birthday. Wow, you're old now =P
