Jan. 28th, 2005 01:31 pmSo, this will be a bit of a rambling entry, I can already tell. So please, bear with me.
The opening night of Copa went really well, at least IMO. I think it was my personal best performance. The audience was small and not as responsive as we may have liked so energy wasn't as high as it could have been, but things ran smoothly, which is good.
I finally got to go to my MWF classes today, which was nice. I feel like such a slacker, having missed them the rest of the week (once because of the matinee and once cause the school was closed). I have to admit, I'm really loving archaeology. I had forgotten how fascinating I once found it. I have this huge urge to go dig a hole in my backyard this summer...not sure if my parents would let me though. I'd fill it in when I was done, honest!!!
So, my weekend has started now. Main goal for this weekend is to get the rough copy of my first essay for Lit Periods written. I also want to read some more of Out of This Furnace. I may start Wuthering Heights too, though I doubt it right now.
Also, Kate is coming which shall be cool. Though it will also be hard, trying to call her Kate instead of Katie. But since that's what she wants to be called now, since she doesn't like the name "Katie" very much and finds that there are just too many of them. She shall still be Katiosa though, because Katosa just doesn't look or sound right.
Well, that wasn't so bad. Except my hand rather hurts from where Ryan through a snowball at it. I think there must have been some ice in it, because it hit much harder than any decent snowball should.
Edit: Here's an amusing LotR animation thing I found...not as good as the infamous Taters, but still amusing: Walking into Mortor. Found on
sgreer's journal.
