Well, another night of me not being able to sleep when I have to get up for classes at 9:30 -_- Fun. So here I am, killing some time online in hopes that afterwards precious rest will be mine.
I finally got past the Fire Emblem level of FE, I was rather happy. I even have another party member, Karal or something like that is his name. He looks rather snazzy. I ended up ignoring Nilus' silly augury about taking flyers though...they kept dying on me >.<
I'm getting close to being able to upgrade the class of a bunch of characters, Hector already is a Great Lord (let me take a moment to cry over FE 6 KILLING HECTOR ;_;) which is snazzy. Now I'm off to go stop the assasination of teh cool prince who was the villian in FE 6 (which is also saddening, because I rather like him...poor fox ;_;).
Oh, and I got the first support for Rebecca/Will, yay!

Feb. 16th, 2005 06:44 pmOk, 3 hours until my interview. I'm trying not too get too worked up about it. I just had a shower, so at least my hair should look good (provided that it has dried by then, which hopefully it will have).
I just went through some pictures for FE that I got and was happily able to identify almost all the characters. I have a shot of Jaffar and Nino which is just SO adorable.
Now, I just need to defeat what supposedly is the hardest level in the game. Joy.
I can finally start research for my History essay, though sadly I have had to switch the topic slightly to focus on slavery, since I need there to be disagreement and debate about the issue I'm writing about. This isn't a research paper, it's a historiographic one. I'm not really that thrilled about the change, but whatever, it shouldn't be difficult and most of the sources I had picked out already should be applicable. Hopefully I'll be able to focus more on the whites, rather than the black slaves, because I really want to try and not do that subject to death.
The fourth volume of the Pret manga arrived today...unfortunately I must wait for Margaret to finish reading it before I can. I think I'll pop over there after the intereview.

Feb. 16th, 2005 09:20 pmOk well...just about time to go to my interview. I have to admit, I am rather nervous about it, I've only ever done one interview before in my life (and it didn't get me a job ;_;)
I am hopeful that it will go well though. I just need to make my self relax.
And then I get to go read Pret, because if I don't do it ASAP Margaret will explode for wanting to talk about it =P

Feb. 16th, 2005 11:54 pmOK, well the interview went really well, I think. So now it's once again out of my hands, I'll have to wait to see if they pick me. The competition is rather stiff though, with many applicants and only a few jobs, but I'm hopeful.
