(no subject)

Well...my journal claims to be in read-only mode...let's hope this isn't actually true.

Wow, I can't believe I'm still awake. It's 3:30 AM! My alarm goes off in five hours. But it was worth it...I spent the night talking with Shannon, who in fact had not forgotten about it but had merely taken a nap. It's always so nice to hear from her. I can't wait until this summer, it's been so long since we got to spend any large amount of time together, since she's been living in Oshawa since before first-year started. I really, really miss her.

Then, when I finally got off the line with her...I ended up reading Two Angels, a rather amazing Nino/Jaffar fic by TheOneAndOnlyT. Poor Nino, that girl has SUCH a tough time ;___; But she has Jaffar, which is good.

It really is amazing how well-done FE's plot is. I have never seen a game that compared to it (not that I see much games...especially not outside the Gameboy).

I'm going to attempt sleep now, though I may actually sit and read some of Confessions of a Shopaholic, simply because I'm not that tired but reading a bit should help get me ready to sleep. It's different than reading something on the computer.

I was very neglectful of my to-do list though ;_; Boo.

Today I discovered that the Golden A Cafe is a wonderful place to hang out. Too bad I didn't know this before the term was basically up -_- Oh well, if I have gaps between classes next year, I know where to hang out if I don't feel like heading home. And they have peppermint tea! Yay!

So, I managed to get a fair amount of work on my AN fic. The deadline for that is April 15, so I really do need to get a move on. I think there is only one or two scenes left to write. I also did a bit of work on original writing, though not too much.

I was waiting in the cafe until Margaret was out of class, so she and Lindsay and I could work on making our poster for Friday's presentation. I think it went rather well! I'm not particularily looking forward to the presentations though...

After dinner Margaret and I went shopping. It's so, SO cold outside @_@ I was so frozen. Got to Hobbyton though, which was nice...except my order isn't in ;_; Something odd happened, because they were listed on the invoice for the latest shipment, but didn't actually arrive. Hopefully they appear soon. I'm glad now that I have no willpower and thus didn't wait until today to read Imadoki 3-5.

Especially since I bought Sailor Moon 9 and 10.

Yeah...I need to stop spending money. I think that the order may be the last manga I buy at Hobbyton, except perhaps for getting another vol of Chobits. I also am going to buy a birthday present for both my father and Shannon there. So yeah...bye bye money.

Not sure what I'm going to do tonight, though I need to do some reading for English class. And I want to play more FE. But right now...I'm off to go re-read parts of Two Angels (the fic that kept me up last night), because it really was rather good.
