Went to the Carp Farmer's Market today, very fun. I got some maple sugar and then bought some glasses at my current-minister-who-is-retiring-in-a-month's garage sale. My mom bought me some Baby Duck wine, to help in my goal of acquiring a taste for wine. Also went to the library, picked up a rather odd, modern-ish book about Marie Antoinette, hopefully it will help me figure out how much of Rose of Versailles is actually true (mainly, which characters are...so far the only ones I know that aren't would be Oscar and Andre, obviously).

Oh gosh, I forgot...last episode of Rose of Versailles showed Oscar in a dress @_@ It was rather odd...and she was really quite pretty.

Apparently the parents need my help outside...joy...of course, right now I'm in the middle of Internet stuff, so I'll finish it before going out.

Yay, I finished the next chapter of Absence of Fear. Woot! Now, all I need is a beta (any GW fans out there willing to do it? It's a look at relationship that Quatre and Trowa have, not necessarily shounen-ai, the prologue and first chapter are here FYI, I need someone =P)

Anyway, not sure what I'm going to do for the rest of the evening, I might go joins the parental units in watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, even though I don't overly care for that book/movie (except for Ginny...her part in it is cool). I had a great debate with my mother about why I think Harry deserves to be slapped =P Very fun.

I'm very obsessed with Wicked the Musical, if you hadn't noticed. It has some very cool music and once you know it's only loosely based off the book, you can appreciate it on it's own. I really think it would be cool to perform it back-to-back with The Wizard of Oz, with the same casting in both. It would be tough for some of the characters though...but hey, actors at Stratford often are in 2-3 plays at once during the festival, so Broadway people should be able to do the same =P

I'm at the point in Rose of Versailles where I'm missing some episodes, which is annoying because I haven't been able to locate an episode guide for it...d*mn unlicsence anime. I might be able to find one in french, I guess...I'll try that, especially since of the 4 I'm missing, 3 of them are consecutive and the other comes two episodes before that big block -_-

*le sigh* I'll figure something out, though it might be watching the episodes and trying to figure out what happened.

Ok, I think I may be coming out of the shock of this all...trying not to get depressed because the Canadian Golf and Country Club is run by assholes. This isn't the end of the world.

crippled_pink, looks like I may see if I can take you up on the offer of getting me a job at the Gap perhaps...do you think you can do it? Would it have to be the same location as you are at, because that might complicate things a bit?

Stupid golf club. I don't think I want to work there at all, but I want them to give me some bloody reason why they did this. And give us some money for anything we can't return (though I think I may want to keep the pants at least, since they are nice...and because I've lost the bill for them anyway >.<)
