Jun. 13th, 2006 01:45 pmAnd back home again, I feel like I have energy but I know the minute I'm watching TV this afternoon I will pass out. Yay.
It was an interesting shift today. Candice and Andrea both ended up going home early, the former because of being sick and the latter due to stress (Candice was also stressed). But I was okay, the counter was actually really slow this morning for the most part.
On the walk home I found that one of my co-workers (Darlene is her name, I think) lives on a street on my path from home to work. And she also owns this cat that I was admiring yesterday, which looks like a Siamese but actually isn't at all @_@ And, even freakier, apparently she lived in the other half of our house for ten years.
Sackville is a small world.
Oh, and I discovered that pay day, which is Thursday, will give me money from the work I've done from Sunday-to-Sunday (so everything I've worked not counting yesterday or today. This means I'll be able to pay off my credit card bill.
Still no word on my painting cheque -_- But I also haven't checked my mail since last week, so it could be there...but Dave said he'd call when he heard something, so I really don't know. If I was still working that job, I think I would have gone on strike for lack of payment.
Two days off now, which shall be nice.
