To-Do List

- put away clean laundry
- clean up room (more of a straightening up than cleaning, really)
- read lots of Anne Rice
- get book from library that has the article I present on in Linguistics on Wednesday
- attempt to find Dr Lapp in his office again (and probably fail)

I've been watching the Nodame Cantabile anime (after finally giving up on waiting for my preferred fansubbers to catch up and switching to another group's release) and I have to admit, it so far has been disappointing. It just doesn't have the same energy as the live action. Especially the musical performance scenes, since the anime tends to use a lot of still shots, while the live action didn't. I guess it's cheaper to get people to pretend to play instruments than it is to draw people playing instruments ;_;

The thing that makes me saddest is that while the anime has a good chance at seeing a North American release...the live action, not so much ;_; Oh well, that's what fansubs are for!
