Today's goal: finishing reading Christ the Lord.

Then tomorrow I can get stuff ready for the presentation, which I'll put together on Wednesday, hopefully giving me time to go to the G&G thing (I'll at least make an appearance, I just don't know if I can stay the whole time).

I finished with Christ the Lord tonight. I really enjoyed it. It reminded me why I love Anne Rice (and maybe gave me inspiration to try reading Blood Canticle again, if I skip past the rather fanbratish introduction...love the writing, but the woman does get a bit too attached to her characters and her work). Her characters always feel so real.

And no, Jesus was not a vampire. At least not yet. He's only about 8 or so when the novel ends.
