Alright, so the consensus is that I need to take the computer and monitor back to Future Shop and make them fix it since I should be able to get them to do all that for free, since they're the ones that fucked things up in the first place. Luckily, Sackville Kate (not to be confused with Rosa Kate) is going into Moncton to look for a summer job this week and can take me with her. So I at least have transportation before my PARENTS get here.

Until then, I'll do my best to be around, the school computer labs are pretty good and Sam probably will let me use her computer when she isn't around since she has in the past, but I can't really make many promises.

In better news, I did have a good time on Saturday with Diane. Once everything works, I should have a computer that can play the Sims expansion without problems.

I also bought a copy of Elite Beat Agents which is the most cracktastic thing I have ever seen. Who would have thought DDR could work on a DS? It's awesome though and I love it. Nicole, we need to try multiplayer sometime before I leave (where were you on Saturday? ;_;)

I also am happy that Oe-sensei decided that people who didn't have their essay done could hand it in on Wednesday, which means I don't have to spend the rest of my afternoon working on it, which is good.

Bad news is that essay for Christianity & Rome which is due on Thursday. Because I'm fairly certain my computer will not be up and going by then. But I'll survive, somehow.

New policy for helping Vicki with computer issues: assume that she is stupid and has no clue what she is doing!

I was plugging the monitor into the wrong spot because I didn't know that it had changed. So yeah...assume stupidity/cluelessness is a good first measure. Yay to the Maltam guy for realizing it XD!

AND YAY FOR HAVING MY COMPUTER BACK!

Now I shall go play the Sims ^_^

Wow, I never knew the graphics in the Sims 2 were so good. Yay for video card.

However, the game isn't running quite right, but I know there are patches out there for it so I shall go get them and hopefully that will fix it.

Microsoft Office is WEIRD.

So I opened up one of my fics to work on and it tells me it has noticed a change in my system and thus needs to reconfigure things. And I'm like...it's a VIDEO card, it doesn't affect you and so I say cancel. Then I find out that I can't make changes to existing documents or make new ones until I reconfigure.

WTF.

Yay, I have officially confirmed with Humber that I'm going to attend the Book Publishing course. It's nice to have something concrete like that, because I'm horrible at thinking maybe something will change and then I'm not in and that would really suck.

Of course, it looks like the tuition has gone up since last year, because it is higher than I was told it would be, but oh well...I think it will definitely be worth it.
