Last interview for the moment is done. I should hear back from Cormorant and BookNet today and I'm hoping I might hear back from Random House as well.

I almost decided to ditch school for the rest of the day, but I'll be good, since it is the second last day. Also, there is a BBQ for new students that I should be able to sneak into!

I heard back from BookNet, I didn't get another interview. It's disappointing, but does make my weekend plans a bit simpler since I can leave tomorrow (coming back of course is still completely up in the air). Which I guess means I should pack sometime today, since I want to be all ready to go tomorrow when Dad gets here (except of course for getting Elphie in her carrier).

Still haven't heard back from Cormorant or Random House.

Edit: Also, I got a free copy of the first Vampire Hunter D novel today, yay! This industry rocks.

I just heard back from Cormorant, which I also did not get.

So now I'm really hoping Random House comes through. Obviously.

So right now I'm really debating what's going to happen this weekend. I have a few options:

1) Go back with Elphie as planned and hope that somehow we figure a way to get us both back in TO. (it is possible we will not be back at the same time)

2) Go back by myself, get Suzanne to look after Elphie if she can, and bus back.

3) Don't go at all.

No idea which one will happen. Hearing back from Random House will of course be a factor, hopefully that happens before I have to make a decision.

Question for those who graduated from Mt A not at the same time I did: do we EVER get off the students@mta.ca mailing list? Because I'm getting a bit sick of emails about parking in Sackville.

So, I've continued thinking about options for this Ottawa trip thing and decided that 2 and 3 both suck. So we're going ahead as planned and will do the go to Ottawa with Elphie tomorrow and after...who knows. I'll figure something out. Somehow.

I definitely feel myself going into kick the universe mode.
