I have an appointment to see the last apartment I contacted the other day on Friday. Apparently this one is even available at a lower rent because it's one the first floor (I personally don't see why that's a reason to make it cheaper, but hey, I'm not complaining!)

I really hope this one actually lives up to its listing. All of them have listed hardwood floors, but none have actually delivered yet.

First day of the Festival! Very exciting! I'll be heading out at 5:30ish to get down there, so I don't mind being woken up at 3:15 because the alarm was set for 4 anyway.

It still would have been smarter to fall asleep before 10, but that's my fault so whatever.

The opening film of the Festival was pretty snazzy, it was a mockumentary surrounding the 1978 version of Game of Death, the last Bruce Lee movie (sort of). I didn't really know anything about it going in, but it was interesting to watch. And amusing.

It ended at 8:30 so I decided I would go home, since I had forgotten my book (which makes me very annoyed with myself). But first I thought I would go to Honest Ed's, a TO landmark of sorts, just to say I've been there. Well, I am never going there again, I got very lost, didn't find what I was looking for (a plain black dress that can be altered to become my Bellatrix costume that I plan to make for AM) and then had a very hard time finding the way out of. What a mess.

Anyway, I finally got on the subway and got to Kipling. And waited and waited and WAITED for the 44 to show up. And then when it did and I to Lakeshore, I just missed a streetcar.

I was hoping to be home for at least half an hour before having to leave again. Instead, it's been 15 minutes. Boo. But at least now I will have my book, plus I've been meaning to call my parents so I can do that too.
