Merry Christmas everyone! Hurrah!

It has been a nice holiday, great to see family and friends and all that jazz. I've got a lot of nice new stuff and given some good gifts away too. I'm probably forgetting something, but here is a list of (most of) the stuff:

- Phantom of the Opera DVD
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD
- Atonement
- Satanic books (aka 2 and 3 of His Dark Materials)
- a grocery cart (that is being a bitch to put together because of lousy instructions and my tendency to break things)
- bread maker
- kitchen table and chairs
- egg cook book
- new watch of AWESOMENESS
- very cool dresser
- Pot of Gold and other various yummy goodies
- a nice glass plate
- a set of towels
- tons of stuff for Elphie [I swear, she got almost as many presents as I did from THE FAMILY(TM)]
- a paper towel holder (this is cooler than it sounds, I promise)
- other stuff that I am blanking on now
- I haven't gotten The Boleyn Inheritance yet, but I know I will (along with a second copy of Harry Potter, oops...but it shall probably turn into Pirates 3 since I didn't get that one)

So today is load the trailer day. I also am going to head into the Comic Book Shoppe and pray that they have ParaKiss 2.

(no subject)

I know I say this every time I move, but I really do have too much stuff. I don't understand it, how I can fill up a trailer only on the stuff that was in Ottawa that I didn't need before (admittedly there is a fair amount of furniture there).

We finally got everything in though, hurrah. So we're ready to leave tomorrow. Tomorrow marks the start of my internet-less period, I don't know how I'll survive. Dad said I should fight the withdrawal symptoms by drinking water and going on walks. The water part sounds okay, but it's COLD out there.

Anyway, I will console myself with the fact that it's Christmas and so no one is around right now. Plus, I don't have to care about Eden's birthday anymore because she is dead (as is Noel, the character who cared about such things) T______________________________T This fact is still a bit traumatizing.

There will no doubt be a voice post giving an update on getting internet at the new place. Hopefully it will only take a couple of days to happen.

Also, the Comic Book Shoppe did not have ParaKiss (apparently they have been having trouble ordering it for 6 months, which is longer than the Geneon thing which suggests there are multiple reasons for why it seems to be the first thing going out of stock). I did get vol 4 of Angel Sanctuary finally (I have a hard time finding the right volumes in store for this series), vol 2 of Gunslinger Girl (while I curse Geneon, ADV is so in my good books for finally continuing this series, even if it is a bit odd to see the order of events changed from the anime...at least it doesn't mess things up as much as xxxHolic anime did), and vol 1 of Sugar Sugar Rune because I have heard great things about. From the non-anime side, I also got vol 4 of Fables, so now I can read it and 5 when I get back to TO.

I also now have Zelda: Phantom Hourglass because I have wanted it for ages. When I get internet up in TO, I must remember to fill out the survey for the feather stylus of AWESOMENESS.
