Quick update!

Animaritime is going AWESOME. We had almost 600 attendees, which is more than the entire con last year, and it's only been open for one day. We've broken even after one day (without the auction, which is usually our biggest money raiser beyond registration).

Very awesome.

Bellatrix costume is done, at least as much as it's going to be with no bodice. Just waiting now to see if Kate is alive enough to come today, she caught something from her mother and so is feeling pretty crappy at the moment :(

Posting from the con because I suck and becaus there is a computer here with free internet.

Things are still going well. Except for Kate having to go home, but at least her dad could pick her up which means I didn't have to drive anywhere. I am going to try and get to stay at the hotel tonight because it will be easier on everyone, plus there is a room with 3 staff and 2 of them are okay with sharing (and I'm sure the third will be too). Then if Kate is better tomorrow I can pick her up during my free period at the start of the day. And if not...I shall be very sad :( So here's hoping.

Bellatrix costume is going very nicely, though I had to ditch the wig for a bit because the wig cap was tight and giving me a headache. Also one sleeve fell off but it actually works because now the Dark Mark is visible. And it continues the idea of this being a "variation" on movie!Bella.

I am exhausted and there are still 2 and a half hours of con left (and then the inevitable staff meeting). But I'm staying at the hotel tonight, which makes me feel SO much better. Especially since there is freezing rain out there now and I'd rather not deal with that if I don't have to (if Kate was still here, we would probably be leaving the con early now).

We are over 800 attendees, which is awesome.

I can't wait for this day to be over though.
