We got into Ottawa around 11:30 last night. Very happy to get here, especially because Elphie had had about enough of the whole care thing around 11.

I just got back from seeing my cousin's last hockey game (they lost ;_;) and then going to Wal-Mart and buying the following:

- GameCube memory card!
- very pretyt black shoes!
- the Juno nominees album (I am in love with Headley), and
- an awesome t-shirt with the caption "I don't do drama" (which led to me having to explain to Mom that it wasn't talking about acting drama...silly English language)

Not sure what else is happening today. It's my dad's birthday (Mom had to remind me, but it was 6AM...I'm sure I would have realized it later!) and we're having family over for dinner and then going to see the musical. Other than that, I'm probably just hanging out and enjoying myself.

It shall be nice.

I have a question for all you Classic Disney fans.

I was watching the special features for The Little Mermaid DVD and found out something rather shocking: apparently, Ursula is King Triton's sister. I did not know this before, but Mom claims that she knew before watching the behind the scenes stuff (the original cut of the opening number told about the sibling relationship in exposition).

SO...here is a poll. And if you answer yes, please let me know how you knew, because I can't think of a point in the movie that mentions it which wasn't cut out.

Of course, this whole sibling relationship does complicate the Little Mermaid 2 (which is actually a decent movie, IMHO) a bit, since the villain there is said to be Ursula's sister.

I am somewhat freaking out right now, because we can't find Elphie. I know that she's a cat and cats do that...but I've never haven't been able to find her before. And so I'm a bit worried, especially if she managed to a) get outside (highly unlikely, but still scary worst case scenario) b) went downstairs (more likely, but the door has been closed most of the day).

Anyway, trying to stay calm but it isn't working all that well. I will be very happy to know where she is again @_@

Cat has reappeared. I don't know where she was, but it was a good hiding place.

The play was fun. It was weird being in the audience, after either being in the plays or missing them completely for the last 14 years.

Mood is not entirely correct but not entirely incorrect either. And always fun to use~
