May. 28th, 2009 10:31 pmI had a lovely afternoon today, despite the weather being a tad gloomy.
My grandmother's cousin passed away a few days ago, so she came up to TO for the services. I went to meet my uncle so we could go pick her up at the train station, but on the way I stopped in at the Indigo Spirit at Mount Sinai Hospital to drop off a resume/letter from old manager in person (I had already applied online but I have gotten NO response that way. I think I may have like, failed the online quiz screener thing they make you take or SOMETHING). I also stopped by at my old Indigo Spirit and saw Dionne and Jenn and (briefly) Marlena. It was fun times.
And at NEITHER place did I buy any books. Admittedly, this is because this weekend they are having a sale where iRewards gets you 20% off instead of 10%. So I might be going then (but being reasonable about it, I swear!).
After that I met up with Bruce and we got Grandma and went out to dinner. Then back to his place and we put some new highlights in my hair, because I had some major roots showing.
Glad to be home now because I am definitely a homebody and I get cranky if I'm not back here after 9 o'clock.
Tomorrow has exciting things going on too but this entry is a bit long so I think I'll just talk about that in a morning entry ^_^
