Apr. 21st, 2008 07:55 amAnother interesting shift last night. Nida...didn't show up. So they had Erica pull a double shift, which was fun for me because I love Erica and never had the chance to work with her before. Plus it was Sunday night and not really busy. All and all, the shift went by quite fast.
Until the 6AM rush hit and suddenly the computer that runs the cash registers went down. So everyone - counter, drive-through, bagel bar - no longer has screens to go off of and we all got to do a lot of math in our heads. Good test of how well we all remember the prices.
I was very happy that I got to leave. I hope Erica left soon after, because I feel a bit guilty since she's been working for 16 hours and all @_@
Just called SG, hopefully he'll get the message soon and come and deal with the leak. I'm quite happy to discover that the pot did not overflow during the night, so the leak really isn't too bad. I'm more concerned about any damage done to the ceiling than the amount of water...
