So, I think I shall give a basic life update, since I haven't had one of those for a bit.
Copacabana practices are going quite well. It looks like the sets are basically ready to start being used, which is extra good. And we still have one week before the matinee to do the final stuff. This may not seem like that long, but I'm fairly certain that it's all the time we need to have everything fall into place.
On a bad note, while doing light checks one of our chorus members ended up walking off the stage. And breaking her ankle. And then walking around on it because she thought everything was fine. (for a little more explanation, she was helping them out by walking on stage so they could see what the lighting looked like...then there was a blackout and she kept walking...oops)
So I'm not sure what exactly is going to happen to replace her, but hey, at least she's not the lead and it's not three days before the opening. Because that's what happened last year, and it sucked.
So, that's G&G stuff.
School wise, I'm really loving my schedule this term, with only four classes. However, I do need to make sure to spend enough time on academics, because I am a bit behind in Archaelogy readings, because the latest chapter is really long. But if I don't have it done for tomorrow, it won't be a tragedy, since one reading covers a few days worth of classes. And I'm actually ahead in Western Relgion! And I'm sure I can finish Northanger Abbey by next Tuesday, easily. Also, I have basically enough stuff to do my assignment for American History which is due on Friday.
So school's going well. There's a meeting tomorrow for all English students considering doing Honours next year, which I'll be going to. Should be interesting.
Other stuff is really not too interesting. I'm still anime obsessed, I think I may start watching The Melody of Oblivion soon, because it's almost completely fansubbed (if not entirely, I'm not sure). And I want to see more of Excel Saga, because it's just hilarious, though it will be harder to find. Also, Margaret and I have been getting Digimon fansubbed, which is interesting. The dub added in a lot of rather dumb, but sometimes very amusing, jokes, apparently to appeal to the female audience. I'm really glad to see that at least in the first season, characters weren't changed much and that their dub names are plausable nicknames of their Japanese ones.
Animaritime 2005 is fast approaching, but the panic over it has yet to set in. Once G&G is done, I'm sure it will.
My other latest obsession is RPGing, mainly at Grindelwald. This RPG has so spoiled me, because it is so wonderful. I just love it to bits, especially one of my characters, Marietta Edgecombe. She is just the greatest thing ever. And she just started dating Roger Davies, which was a relationship four months in the making (Grindelwald is a decidedly UN-shippy RPG).
I also am rather pleased with Voices Soft as Thunder, because when I did my Tohma entry today I felt like I was really beginning to get into his character again, which was great.
Of course, this was because he was angstying a bit, something he hasn't had a chance to do much of lately. Since Mika hasn't been posting for a bit (KATIOSA!!!! POST!!!!), she is the subject of his angst. Sometimes it's nice to be the Mod and thus be able to not worry so much about using the other characters, especially when their players haven't done anything themselves. Of course, I would rather not have to do this.
Other than RPGing, school and plays my life mainly consists of a few key online spots, LJ, TheForce.Net and GAFF.
So, that's what I've been up to lately. Fun.
