Jul. 24th, 2005 08:08 pmI am back in Ottawa, safe and sound, despite no one actually giving me directions as to how to get from the bus station to my aunt and uncle's house, where I'm staying until my parents pick me up. I walked in the wrong direction for a bit, until I eventually found Bank Street and doubled back. Fun.
Anyway, I came back with some goodies I didn't have before: Gravi 12, FY 15, and Shopaholic Takes Manhatten. This means...I AM DONE COLLECTING GRAVITATION! I HAVE "ALL" OF IT. All used loosely, since Maki Murakami has started working on it again...but I'm sure it will take awhile before an English volume of it is done, so I can say I'm done for now. I really liked the last volume, because it showed how all that really bizarre and rather, well, pretty far-fetched stuff with Rage and everything actually happened and WHY. It also had some really good lines, like "love is never shameful" and what Yuki said to Shuichi about him just being a kid, not an adult who can see the full picture, was rather helpful to me, thinking about my life situation.
So I was very pleased with the ending...and hey, NORIKO CALLED K "K-KUN"! OMG, MY SHIP HAS MORE SUPPORT!!!!! Well, not really...but hey, I can dream =P
Oh, before I forget, while in Toronto, Himitsu was always on my mind. Especially at Lawrence Street and Subway station, Jarvis Street, and at the World's Largest Bookstore (which isn't the world's largest, but whatever), I found Ash's PB staring at me from the cover of XXXHolic (is that what's it's called?). Also, while listening to Margaret's Pretear PB, I kept getting ideas for the songs working on the Himitsu FST (I definitely thinking that "Kids" from Bye Bye Birdie works for Jarvis...or for the entire older cast, meaning Jarvis and Keagen and Nessa...we need more adults @_@ Also, you could have "I'm Just a Kid" by Simple Plan for the younger crew: Rae, Finlay, Prudence, and Patience)
It was fun.
And tonight, I can return to full-on Himitsu participation (which means that it's time to try and get things rolling on forcing Maire OUT of the Denial Club). Yay!
And I can also finally stop ignoring house drama that I didn't want to deal with while in TO. Not so yay.
