So last night I completely failed when it comes to TV premieres. But part of it wasn't my fault! CTV moved CSI to 8 instead of 10 and I didn't realize it!

Of course, completely forgetting to watch what I could have for Grey's was my own fault. But I was going to miss about half of it because of when I got back.

Also, I just realized that I am collecting a Geneon anime which means now I get to flail about and go see if I can find a good price to get ParaKiss 2 & 3 because I don't need to be collecting another OOP series! Luckily, I was already thinking that I would buy some DVDs and try to finish a series up this month...but I was thinking it would be Wolf's Rain first. Poor WR always gets left behind.

Edit: Also! I was telling Trebs that I was worried about my TTC pass because this week's only goes to the 30th and my next pass is October, so I was concerned about working on Sept 31st and how I would use the streetcar/bus.

And then she reminded me that there is no Sept 31st. Win.

So turns out that I am indeed working backshift! 11PM to 7AM. Should be...interesting. As I said before, it will be really good for any job interviews I have, since they obviously won't conflict with a shift I have.

It also makes getting time off interesting, because I have to book two days, one night and one morning.

Today went okay, I guess. I was getting a bit annoyed with some people who treated me like an idiot (though admittedly they probably didn't know that I in fact did know what I was doing, pretty much). This also made me miss my old Tims co-workers SO much. I didn't quite expect that.

They also have so much technology stuff there, it's insane. The worst is this cream and milk dispenser that has each spout on the side, but I'm used to it being in the middle so I kept spilling. Or forgetting to pick the right one to come out. Blah. This was also when I was put on drive through MAKING first thing, which is of course my least favourite position to be in. About an hour or so in though I was moved to counter, which was much nicer. The new touchscreen cashes are a bit weird sometimes and they do stupid things that the old ones didn't, but overall they worked okay.

The best part of the day had to be what I was wearing for a uniform. They didn't have anything big enough for me, so I ended up in a XL men's shirt...with maternity pants. Brilliant combination, huh?

Hopefully my actual uniform will come soon.
