Well, that audition went okay, I guess. Having never really done an audition like that, I'm not really sure, but I'm fairly happy with it. I couldn't get my note for the last verse of Somewhere Over the Rainbow though (the one about the birds). But I carried on as best I could...I think some allowances must be made when one is singing acapella.

The monologue from the script was interesting...the whole show is apparently in that, which may make memorizing lines interesting. The dance audition is on Thursday, call-backs on Saturday, I think the cast list is up either Sunday or Monday...I'll actually have to go look at it for once @_@

I don't really feel in the researching mode tonight. Surprise, surprise. I think I'll go work on fic, I think writing might work tonight. Hopefully I can get the last flashback scene in the peg sisters fic...maybe I can even turn some attention to Zoe.

But first, I need a drink (no, not a fun drink, just some water XD)

Hmm... Might I surmise from this that you auditioned for a musical play? ^_~ Theater is interesting, I'm having so much fun learning it for the first time over here. XD *nods*

The musical society at my university is putting on Oklahoma this year and I finally actually got up the courage to audition for it! It's my third year as a part of the club, though I've been in many other musicals before, they really are so fun!

I've heard of Oklahoma but not what it's about--what is it about? XD And, good for you! ^^ Hopefully you get whatever you audition for. :D It seems likely in light of your experience.

I actually don't really know too much, except it's sort of a Romeo & Juliet story, a cowboy and a farmgirl fall in love or something.

I didn't really audition for any particular part...anything would be fun I think!
