Ack.
So, I found out that Margaret had bought lightbulbs the other day and just failed to mention it (I thought she had forgotten and thus had been spending a lot of time in the dark XD) so I went to go and get them where the needed to be. One was in the light over the kitchen table. But I had it screwed in and flipped the switch and...nothing. So I tried to tighten it...still nothing. Fiddled around a bit more, flipped the switch...and there is a lovely snapping sound as suddenly the TV goes off. Yay for blowing fuses.
I considered seeing if I could find the fuse box and fix it, but then decided this was a BAD IDEA. And so I called Rick and he should be here in 20 minutes or so. Then I can follow him down and learn how to fix such things without electrocuting anyone in the future. Useful knowledge.
However, I had been planning on going into town like, right now because there's stuff I need to pick up ASAP and this really is the only day I could get them, since tomorrow and Monday are holidays and Sunday shopping hours aren't so great.
But I guess that can wait until the househousehouse is fixed. Whenever things start to break around here...everything goes at once.
Edit: Problem fixed, sorta. We can't use the light over the table right now, but the TV works again so all is good.
