i_paint_the_skyJust got back from my blogging job meeting.
Okay, since not everyone quite knows what I'm talking about: Mount A has decided to start hosting a group of student blogs to help show/promote student life at the university. I applied for the position back in December and they apparently liked what they saw and so I was hired.
The blogs aren't quite up yet due to some technical stuff, but hopefully it will appear sometime during the next week or so (and I will of course post a link for anyone who is interested in reading TWO blogs by me!).
This is a paid position, which I will admit was the main draw for me (though I like blogging and I like Mount A so I might have applied anyway). Pay is $7.50/hour, which is nice (and more than I get at Tim's, yay minimum wage -_-). Each entry is to be roughly 500 words and pictures and video and anything else we want to add is fine.
They want to get the first entries done soonish, they may be backdated when posted. So I am going to start working on that tonight I think. Also, Doug is coming to visit Sam which means I can get him to take a covetted housemates post!
I also need a current picture of Elphie. This will of course be done using Margaret's digital camera ^_^
I think that's about it. It sounds like an interesting and fun project.
