i_paint_the_skySo I've been thinking lately about all the people staying out East after graduation and what exactly I want. I honestly have never been able to strongly consider staying out here, since the job opportunities in publishing are much more limited (though they do exist).
However, I've also found myself thinking lately about whether I would even stay out here if I could. I'm not sure. I've loved my years out here and I have great memories and great friends...but I have that back in Ottawa too. My family's almost all in Ontario and we've always been very close and I have a lot of friends there whom I've known all my life who I've really missed while I was out here, mainly Shannon though there are others.
So basically, the more I think about it, the more I feel that I wouldn't stay out here. It's just so far away and I do feel like I'm missing out on things. Of course, I'll feel that if I don't stay too, but I'm not sure if it will be as much.
Anyway, I ended up deciding that I think I can write my essay without too many secondary sources. Or at least I hope I can. Just sitting down with a text can be fun.
