Ok, this has been quite an interesting day. As I said before, my aunt came today with the remainder of my stuff (which is now sitting on my bed...lovely =P). But today was also Shinerama here at Mt A. I wasn't going because I wanted my stuff, but I still got woken up at 7. By our ex-Assistant Don (Big Vickie...I'm Little Vicki) and her fiance, a former prez of my rez. The former was banging doors with a frying pan while the latter was blaring on a trumpet.

It was highly annoying.

My aunt arrived a bit late, so I actually had gotten up then (though I would have prefered another hour or two of sleep. And my stuff got moved into my room. Than, after having brunch, [livejournal.com profile] yubsie and I went with my aunt and one of her friends to this park of sorts, where we saw cool rocks that have been created by erosion. Very fun.

So, after wandering around on the beach around these rocks for a while, and getting my feet just covered in mud, I sat down for a few mintutes. Then I got up...and my sandle fell apart!!! Which was really bad, since this beach didn't have sand...just rocks and some mud. So Margaret got the brilliant idea of using seaweed to tie it together. She was joking...but obviously forgot that you DON'T joke with the anime club, because they take everything seriously. Well...kinda.

Sadly, the seaweed didn't really hold, but it was good enough to get me to the stairs. Then I went up them and paid to have the shuttle take me back (while the others walked).

I basically slept all the way home, because it really was a tiring day. I had stayed up till 3 AM the previous night, talking to [livejournal.com profile] rosa_aquafire on the phone. That was just SO nice...hopefully she will be coming to visit next weekend, which would totally rock. So my frustration over the lack of communication is rather gone now.

On the ride home Margaret and I also plotted a possible Harry Potter Alternate Universe fic. I shall have to make sure she writes it (and eventually finishes beta-ing my latest monologue for Liminal).

Upon arriving back, we had dinner, then decided to check out Sackville's new comic shop. It doesn't have much in the way of manga, which was a bid saddening...but it's a comic shop. In SACKVILLE. So it's sweet. I may still use Chapters though, just so I can get points =P.

Finally, we watched 6 more episodes of Wolf's Rain. Very fun. I had actually forgotten how many storylines it has going at some points. I also apparently forgot where the recap eps come. Because I thought there were 12-16 or something like that...but they aren't. Highly annoying. I know they are soon though.

So, that's about it. Very exciting day. I must go to bed earlier tonight, because the SACtivities fair is tomorrow. I get to wear my Hitomi costume again! Woot! And after the fair I have to do a bunch of school stuff that I ended up not having time for today.

Aunt Diane says:

The rocks we saw were the Hopewell Rocks.

Ok, thanks. I could never remember the name of the park.
