Today was the SACtivities Fair (where frosh and other students at Mt A get a chance to see what clubs there are on campus). This year the anime club had a table (it formed too late for last years fair). Very exciting. I wore my Hitomi costume, neekabe wore her Miho one and our president was cosplaying as a character from an anime whose name I completely forget at the moment. Oh, yubsie was there too, to show that dressing up wasn't required =P

Anyway, we got all ready and then potential new members started coming. And coming. AND COMING!!! In the end, we had FORTY-ONE PEOPLE sign up. 41!!!! SO amazing. Even if we lose half of them, the size of the club will have about tripled. So, SO wonderful.

Can you tell I'm excited?

We are so looking forward to this years Animaritime. Last year we had about 50 people...this year we already think it may go up to 200 @_@. This is just going to be so truly and completely wonderful.

The only downside to today is that I'm pretty sure that Margaret gave me her cold. Thanks. And I didn't manage to get Romeo and Juliet read this week...I'll probably do it tomorrow. I do have time tonight, I guess, but I think I'm going to be going to sleep soonish because I've been really tired.

KK...I really did know that (well, I didn't know which character she actually was.) I just got confused with because I knew the name was like Miho, but it wasn't Miho, and I wasn't sure that she was a vampire princess and...

*sigh* I'm tired. This day was amazingly draining.

You are very lucky to have such a great club. My club only has about 15 members about. And we didn't get to have our mainstreet this year because our president forgot to fillout the correct paper work last year.

Oh dear...that does rather suck. This is the second year our anime club has been running, and this year we have much better organization than the last (as in we have a room booked for us for the entire year, and hopefully will have the dates for Animaritime confirmed soon.)

Small clubs are fun though, because everyone knows everyone else. That said, I'm still excited about us having more people!

You should try starting one yourself then. Even if you only have a few people, it would still be fun.
