Ok, I only signed up for four clubs this year. That's only one more than I was in last year (I added EROS, the earth religions/paganism club).
Last year, things went just fine. I had time for everything.
This year, THREE of the four clubs have meeting on the same night. All conficting with each other. I have Writer's Society from 6-8, EROS from 7:30-maybe 9ish and G&G Choral from 8:30-10:30.
This just doesn't work.
It looks like either I'm going to end up dropping out of EROS, which would be sucky...or I'm going to have to convince Amanda to change the meetings. Because the other two would work, albeit without leaving me time for any schoolwork.
And a completely different note, was talking to Big Sister Brother last night (the prez of our anime club) to make sure that we could show Gravitation at the anime con, because I know at least one member thought we couldn't on the sole basis that it is shounen-ai. But it's like, PG13 shounen-ai. Anyway, Linds agreed that as long as we put a warning for the unsuspecting audience that they were about to see scenes of homosexuality, that we could show it. Because it can't be worse than X the movie.
So, Katiosa, you can bring it. Gravi is actually officially rated PG-13, right (it should be, at any rate).
And I have a Linguistics test in Phonics at the end of my next class. I hope I'll do ok. I should go and pick up my English assignment soon too. I must make Margaret remind me of that.

on 2004-10-06 09:55 am (UTC)(The X movie was rated R and it was shown. I still think it`s vaguely discriminatory. <_<)

on 2004-10-06 09:58 am (UTC)I honestly can't see it being made just PG...there is a fair amount of violence and rape and stuff. It should be enough to warrant the 13 rating...but certainly nothing more.
Anyway, check to make sure when you get home. And if it is rated R...then we can try to convince people that such a rating is just ridiculous.

on 2004-10-06 10:00 pm (UTC)Since Gravitation's PG-13 it shouldn't be a problem, so long as you put on a warning [which should be there for most anime anyways :)]
on a note about X- the comic it was spun off of [or in he same universe as ala CLAMP School], Tokyo Babylon, has an anime version, and CPM's releasing it for 9.99! Yay!More cheap CLAMP anime :) [also realllly good is RGVeda, whose Manga is coming next year, and is also 9.99 from them...]
