Well, no complaints about lack of use tonight.

I don't know why I'm still up. Silly GW fics. I started re-reading the good ones and I just can't stop. Was hanging at the TQ Coop and found that Nothing Like the Sun is recced there now. And so I had to go read it. And of course, I got right to the parts that make me cry.

*sigh* This is still the most heartbreaking line in all existence: ... maybe having no one know you, inside and out, isn't real loneliness. Maybe having friends who might know you as well as could be managed, and still don't love you...

That, I decided, is what it means to truly be alone.

Ok, it's a bit more than a line, but it's still just...utterly heartbreaking.

I really should sleep...but I have to read till the end when things become moreorless happy again.

And of course, there are other fic I have been meaning to read, since Margaret and I are watching the amnesia eps and there are a ton of good fics surrounding that.

I love 3x4 to a point that's almost scary.

Especially the 4 part, if you hadn't noticed.

Woo, and they rec'd Baltimore, too. That was fast (and unusual, given it's an OC POV). I got rec'd on Tomomichi's Fleeting Fancies back when I did Drums, but since then...*sniffle* I suspect I might get rec'd more if I didn't write things like Tetractys, which makes people bleed out their ears and threaten me with kitchen implements of destruction.

Baltimore was kinda waiting for months to get written - and believe me, if I'd gone with the original intention of doing Quatre's story based on that song, I think NLtS would've ended up with a much more melancholy, downbeat feeling. In retrospect, I'm glad I waited on that song, and left it for Trowa - it fits him a great deal more than Quatre, I think.

NLtS is AWESOME, isn't it? There's a description of Trowa in Chapter 4 that I go back to read whenever I'm getting too full of myself about my writing abilities. Sol is amazing!
