Back from The DaVinci Code. Decent movie. Some really good performances by Ian McKellan and Paul Bettany (that's his name, right?). A few interesting twists, though I was able to figure a fair amount of stuff out before it happened on screen (especially the end stuff with Sophie). I am really glad that they took out the tacked on romance, that was good.

So yeah, it was okay. Didn't wow me though, certainly not living up to the hype, but then again there was some REALLY CRAZY hype. Like, nothing could have lived up to it, but this probably could have come closer.

I might read the book someday. Not sure. I hear it's not the best written thing.

Interesting ideas in there, but of course total fiction. I feel a bit bad for the poor Apostle who's being mistaken for a woman in The Last Supper XD Because there is NO way that DaVinci would have been allowed to paint Mary Magdalene in there. At all. Definitely the lack of a Grail is intriguing...but then again, you do have to take into account that The Last Supper painting is VERY damaged and its pretty much impossible to know what it looked like originally.

Anyway, looking forward to a day where I can sleep in. That shall be nice.
