Jul. 11th, 2010 08:32 amA new week, a new schedule.
Today I'm working 11-4. Tomorrow 9-5 (stock shift, hurrah!). Tuesday I have off. Wednesday I'm in 5-close, Thursday and Friday I have off (though I'll be trying to change that since the hours for this week are a bit low), Saturday 1-close.
Last week was a good one, I definitely got a bit over 40 hours which is good since that's the last week I'll be paid for this month. Also decent shifts though yesterday I was not really in the mood for anything.
I've been reading Naamah's Curse. So far it's better than Naamah's Kiss though still not in the same league as Kushiel's Legacy. I think this trilogy might be better on second read when I know what to expect from it and am not just reading and wishing certain things will happen only to have them ... not. IDK. This series really seems even more soap opera-ish than the original ones and has more magical elements and not even close to enough intrigue :(
But it's still enjoyable and may be a good book. Just not a OMG GREAT one by any stretch.
