I just made
this (with feta instead of blue cheese, sorry Pioneer Woman, I just couldn't do it) and it was SO DELICIOUS.
And it wasn't even perfectly cooked because I had the steak in for a bit too long and discovered that adding the juices back from the steak messed with the sauce consistency too much.
But boy was it good.
And yes, Mom, since you may read this eventually...I have come around on onions, at least to a certain extent. Still not a fan of them in everything but they have their uses. Like in this sauce which tastes sort of like french onion soup but with a steak in the middle of it.
