In happier news, Shannon's sister Laura finally had her baby today (she was in early labour since Wednesday). Most hilarious part of it all was that the whole time she was in the hospital she was texting and updating Facebook (apparently in between pushes even). Oh technology, how we love you.

And now I am going to go lie down for a bit, feeling even worse but I took some painkillers so hopefully those will kick in ASAP.

My throat really hurts :(

Other than that I'm fine but it's distracting. It had been a bit sore last night but not too bad.

So, I have today off and I need to clean (surprise surprise) and pack. I'm meeting Paul at Finch station for 6 so I should be leaving here by 5. We don't leave for Ottawa until around 9, unfortunately, but that's not too bad since I'll probably sleep on the way (unless there is an interesting movie on, since they have a DVD player in their van...which is a BRILLIANT idea, btw).

Also, OMG THE OLYMPICS ARE FINALLY (almost) HERE!!!

They changed the schedule at Tims, which means I don't have to work six days this week and the next. Both weeks I have Tuesday and Wednesday off, which means I have the same days as Jewels, which means one more shift a week with her, hurrah!

I also booked off my time for the wedding. I've gotten both flights booked and am pretty much prepared. Except I need to find out what's going on with the dress (I had a fitting with the lining a few weeks back, but I'll obviously have to go and try the whole thing on before too much longer).

On a less fun note, my stomach is rebelling over the abuse it faced during the con. But it will be okay. I have a finicky body that always complains when I have been eating particularly badly.

I need to make and upload some new icons, because I'm still down at the plus account limit, which I went to for the few hours before Margaret renewed my paid account. But that will come later. Right now...I probably should sleep (but won't, of course).
